Crypto-only stores have multiplied, and most of them are not honest. Crypto payments are irreversible, so the checks you run before you send matter more than anything you can do afterwards. Here is the checklist we would use ourselves — including on us.
If these three appear together, treat the site as high risk: a domain under six months old, crypto-only payment, and no verifiable business history.

Run these in order. Any single red flag is worth pausing on; three together means walk away.

High-risk indicators: only BTC, USDT or ETH accepted; a manual wallet address pasted in chat; no structured checkout.

Read the content critically
- Overly aggressive marketing language
- Unrealistic promises
- Copied or generic text, poor grammar, vague explanations

Check the digital footprint

Is the product actually real?
- Is a demo available?
- Are samples provided?
- Is the product explained technically, or only sold?

Analyse the wallet address
Look it up on Etherscan, Tronscan or a blockchain explorer. Check for scam reports, and treat a high volume of small incoming payments as suspicious.

Watch for pressure tactics
“Only a few minutes left”, “send now”, “last chance”, “limited slots” — manufactured urgency exists to stop you running these checks.

- Frequent IP changes
- Hosting country changes
- Links to suspicious past projects

Avoid hacker forums
Do not shop on known hacker forums. If the operator is already selling data, the buyers are no safer.

Be sceptical of Telegram DMs
Do not trust people who message you after you ask for help in a public Telegram channel. You cannot get cheap or free support anywhere — that offer is the hook.
